Trail to Dante’s Peak
This capture of blue wildflowers on a boulder strewn, brambly hillside was made on the trail to Dante’s Peak, Griffith Park, Los Angeles, California on 3/17/2016. There was zero wind from 6:00 am to 8:00 am, perfect for wildflower photography and for testing my new Nikon AF-S Nikkor 85mm f/1.8G lens. This was the first capture I made with this lens.

It’s a great lens! Once again, you have done credit to your gear….It’s a lovely image…I was delighted to see you captured this in Griffith Park.. I actually thought it might have come from the high desert…

Thanks Lezlie. When you think about it, Griffith Park is amazing. I’m pretty sure it’s the largest urban park in the world.
