Jack of All Tides
Jack Of All Tides – Beach at Palos Verdes Peninsula, California, USA
A 15-20 minute hike down the beach from the parking lot produced this corroded jack standing straight up, entangled in wire, 15 feet from the breakers with no footprints around it. Go figure. Being a somewhat peculiar individual, this made the walk along the bottom of the Palos Verdes cliffs worthwhile. I was looking for tide pools, but a Jack of All Tides was even better.
