Ohhhhh, a b&w you really know how to start my day and week!
This looks to be a beautiful, old tree, and an old image also.
There is a graininess that comes from film that I now notice after I have seen images in digital.
I like the shading the dark to light, the sharpness of the tree to the softening of the leaves.
The height of this tree looks to be very tall, but not very leafy.
It is fall but it doesn’t look like it has lost many leaves.
Interesting how some of the branches have corkscrewed their way skyward.
Speaking of the sky it looks cloudy and overcast.

I believe this to be true since it has happened to me many times.

I think I might recognize that tree! Then again it’s been years since I’ve visited my old stomping grounds so my memory might be just a little out of focus on that. 😉

Hi Jackie. There were two of them. I chose the most photogenic tree for my image. A reliable source tells me they are still there and are now huge.
