  1. How interesting, I was trying to figure out what kind of tree this had been when it was alive.
    Is this a type of sepia or a brown wash?
    This really brings out the details of the roots, they seem like a wandering road map not knowing which way to go.

    • I found its interesting so I’m glad you did too. The plant was sitting on my balcony, dead as a doornail. I picked it up by the stalk to throw it out and the pot fell off exposing the root system. I couldn’t believe my eyes!

      It’s a study of form and texture with brown toning.
