There was a stillness in the air on the isle of Udo, South Korea, in June 1994, and I can still feel it as I look at the image today. It was a moment in time when light and composition aligned as a woman gathered silently.

Yes, there is a subtle serenity and beauty to South Korea. I’m not exactly a world traveler but whenever I travel to a foreign country, it has a light, thus color uniquely its own. I celebrate those colors in my images to hopefully pass them on to the viewer. I’m glad you allowed your eyes to wander.
