Workstation for 2019

I loved my Mac Pro (early 2009). It really was a beautifully monolithic piece of aluminum. With holes running down the long slender front and a handle on top, it became affectionately known as the cheese grater. I work with image files up to 3 GB in size so it was slow as molasses which doesn’t help the creative process. It was time for my 2009 monstrosity to go. Enter the latest iteration of the MacBook Pro:

  • 2.9 GHz Intel Core i9 Six-Core
  • 32GB of 2400 MHz RAM | 1TB SSD
  • 15.4″ 2880 x 1800 Retina Display
  • AMD Radeon Pro 560X GPU (4GB GDDR5)
  • True Tone Technology
  • Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) | Bluetooth 5.0
  • Touch Bar | Touch ID Sensor
  • 4 x Thunderbolt 3 (USB Type-C) Ports
  • Force Touch Trackpad
  • macOS Mojave

    • It’s a great work station. So fast, if you blink, you’ll miss the progress bar!

I have a confession to make. It’s not always that clean!
