Tufa – Mono Lake 2, Eastern Sierra, California

This was my first visit to Mono Lake and my first capture of a tufa rock formation. I have wanted to do this for a long time, and it was now or never because the lake doesn’t have much water left. Most of the tufa is now on dry land.
