Quietus – Picacho Peak Wilderness, California
Something is wrong with me. I go to one of the most beautiful desert locations in Southern California and come back with photographs of dead trees. It’s not genetic since there were no lumber barons or even a lumberjack in my family history and I’ve never killed a tree myself (my unit has hardwood floors, but I’m renting), yet I am drawn to the skeletal remains of trees.
