Sonoran Desert in Silhouette

This is my depiction of a scorching late afternoon on the Sonoran Desert. Taken on Kodachrome 25, a high contrast film to begin with and also underexposed by 2 stops for even more dramatic effect. Another type of contrast in the image is the juxtaposition between the saguaro skeleton on the left and the baby saguaro (50-60 years old) in the center.
