  1. Colours! Such bright colours the golds and russet of the leaves seemingly backlit by the sun, with the blue of the sky peaking through the leaves, all enhance the glow of the colours that you were presented with.

    Mother Nature seems to always put you in the thick of her beauty.

    The dark brown of the tree trunk and branches adds to the contrast in colours.

    • It is the backlighting that sets the leaves on fire. Someone suggested that the colors reminded them of a Gustav Klimt paining, and I must admit that “Autumn
      tree, North Carolina” employs the same natural color palette. The dark brown trunk and subsequent angular branches is the roadmap to a world of color. I am convinced that I am guided by Mother Nature. It could not be happenstance.
