Saguaro Sunset

Saguaro Sunset – Arizona

When you begin to love a patch of land, the earth under your feet, the scent of it after a rain…you become part of it. You want to portray it all…to capture its essence in a single image.

  1. My but this is a wonderful, serene, sunset. Although the colours are soft they still make the sky alive with light and colour!
I like the cloud that looks like a bird in flight!

  2. Yes, I agree. My heart and lens have recently been captured by “a patch of land” out here in the high desert. So many reasons why, you have presented in this magical image. It is a unique environment beyond compare. The sunsets and sunrises like this are spectacular. And the clouds, they make me smile. The silhouetted flora beautifully shows the diversity of desert plant life. I think this is one of my favorite of your images. The words you have put to it describe what every nature photographer hopes to find. And you have done what every photographer of nature hopes to be able to do…show nature as the fine art she is.
