Mother Nature is the greatest artist of them all. All I had to do was compose (with the aid of a sturdy tripod) and trip the shutter. This image was captured in one of the many canyons with streams and pools that flow from the Catalina Mountains outside of Tucson, Arizona.

    • Thanks for saying that Lezlie Gwynn. Much appreciated. Captured in 1979, this image was always in the back of my mind. I have been waiting for it to emerge when it was ready, and emerge it finally did…from a film box labeled “Junior High School Graduation Photos” (I’ve never been known for my organizational skills).
