Skinny Was Here

There’s a paved road in Griffith Park that is closed to vehicular traffic and frequented by walkers, joggers, skateboarders, and cyclists. This old fire hydrant on the side of the road has been upgraded with a “Skinny Was Here” sticker. I smile every time I go by it, and I’m sure others do too.

Violet of Violet’s Veg*n e-comics: Thanks for being the first to like my image ”Skinny Was Here”. I did a search today to find out about this fire hydrant, and it was most likely made in California by James Jones. I don’t know the year.

This is great. I like this lens. This is digital but it looks a lot like film. There’s something different about the look and feel of this image. You shot this like film? It’s beautiful. And funny.

    You’re welcome. When I have a RAW file captured with the Nikkor 85mm f/1.8 in Adobe Camera Raw and I click on lens correction, I see almost no discernible difference. Why? It’s an almost perfect lens!
