Festa Italia – Gioia!

This capture was made at Festa Italia, 3rd Street Promenade, Santa Monica, California. I was shooting for Eye-Talian Magazine, Toronto, Canada, a magazine for second generation Italian-Canadians. I walked by these two girls who were arm-in-arm, giggling and having fun and they asked if I would take their picture. “Maybe if you beg” I said. After a few rounds of overly heartfelt pretty pleases, they were laughing hysterically. I told them to do something and they started to dance the tango. When one girl swooped downwards in the arms of the other, I clicked the shutter.
