Infamous Photographer Quote #0289

O. Bisogno Scotti, Christmas

“In music, you feel the vibrations surrounding you and react to them instantaneously without a conscious thought process. I’ve tried to bring the same method to art photography.”

  1. In my opinion you have done this. A few years ago I knew nothing about art or photographic art, then I discovered your Blog. What I saw was so moving emotionally, that for the first time in my life I understood what others had said about “art moving them”. I have purchased several Fine Art Prints of yours because “they move me”!

    • It’s all about seeing and feeling, and in order to do that an artist must be free of mind and body. This is what moves the viewer (or listener in music) emotionally.
I feel privilaged that some of my images have entered your life…and apartment! 🙂

  2. existentiallens: Thanks for liking my quote Infamous Photographer Quote #0289. It’s a quote that has been a draft waiting to be published for quite some time. Although it doesn’t relate to my previous image as I usually do, I wanted to get this method that has worked so well for me out there.

  3. Man of many thoughts: Thanks for liking my quote. I mentioned my method to some top shooters in NYC. In the early 90s, I needed to know some of their lighting secrets and they were scrambling to learn digital which I was already well versed in, so one hand washed the other. They liked my methodology in this quote so I decided it was worth passing on.

  4. Being familiar with both your music and your art photography, I can say without question you have succeeded beautifully at creating these vibrations…
