This is gorgeous! Amazing door! The color…everything about it! The side panels are exquisite. It must have something to come across this. So beautiful! I love the shadow running diagonally. I guess in some parts of the world just about everything is art. I would love to have to walk through this door every time I came home. It would make me feel like I was stepping into a magical place. It would make me happy, so happy to come home.

I m glad you liked this image Lezlie. It does seem like everything in the Orient is art so if you make the capture in that frame of mind, amazing things are bound to happen…such as the light/shadow diagonal lighting on the door which was serendipity at its finest.

Bob Ramsak: Thanks for liking “A Korean Door”. I saw many beautiful doors like this in South Korea, most of them deteriorating. They may not be around today.

Nature’s Child: Thanks for liking my image “A Korean Door”. My door and window fetish aside, this particular door was a true work of art. The light/shadow diagonal lighting on the door that Lezlie Sokol mentioned was the caprice of Mother Nature.
