Pom pom topiary is the art of clipping trees and shrubs into round ornamental shapes on different levels. Cloud pruning, practiced in Korea and Japan is a variant in which  the shapes are more cloudlike.

  3. I’m looking at this on my cinema display and it’s making me crazy. The detail, the subtle shift in color….I wish everyone could see this like I do. Not that it isn’t gorgeous on my laptop monitor as well…but………I can’t imagine what it must have felt like to stumble upon this scene…I’m so glad that you did and that you brought it back here to us….How delightful!
