I wonder if Ansel knows the Minarets Wilderness, established as part of the original Wilderness Act in 1964 has been changed to the Ansel Adams Wilderness in his honor.

I once had a chance to buy an Ansel Adams print at a Los Angeles art show. It was not one of his iconic images, but an Ansel Adams none the less. I really wish I would have done that.

Ansel Adams was a combination of passion, drive and intelligence. He was instrumental in creating the Zone System of photography, a method for getting the correct exposure under difficult conditions by dividing the tonal variations in a scene into ten zones.
