Due to my art background, many of my landscapes take on an appearance somewhere in-between a photograph and a painting. They are printed on fine art paper with pigment ink (the same pigment used in oil paint) which makes them look even more painterly. “North Carolina Autumn with Falls” is clearly within these parameters.

  1. Slippery Edge: Thanks for liking my image “North Carolina Autumn with Falls”. Blog-Bisogno.com has followers from countries I previously had never heard of, so in a small and humble way, I am making an effort to make the rest of the world aware of the natural beauty to be found in the USA. It is a beginning to understanding and tolerance.

    • Thank you for capturing this beautiful scene. I have come back many times since you posted it. It has drawn me into its vibrancy, it’s rich colours are alive.
I gaze at the water and at times I think I can see the water flowing down the mountain.

  2. Violet of Violet’s Veg*n e-comics: Thanks for liking “North Carolina Autumn with Falls”. The blurb for this post was written before the terrorist attacks in Paris otherwise it would have been more of a hortatory call to action…for tolerance and surrender to all things beautiful.
