Since this was captured in a folk village in Seoul, the vendor was probably an actor dressed in traditional Korean garb, but who cares? Does it have to be real? Not in my world where the image is everything.

Thanks for liking “Korean Street Vendor in White”. This was taken on a tune-up shoot in Seoul when I first arrived in South Korea, and before leaving for the countryside to find the real Korea.

This is a striking portrait. I love the long ash on the cigarette dangling precariously over the box of candy he’s working with.

That’s so wonderful to hear! Now, it’s getting hard to go anywhere and set your gear down to work without having to be concerned about someone coming up behind you and grabbing it or you! Maybe one day we will all learn to get along in Peace…my dream anyway…..
