Hi Shannon. I think we all feel that way. I always choose a quote that relates to my previous image, but some encompass all of photography such as this Diane Arbus quote. I’m really glad you enjoy my work. I just capture what is around me. It’s as simple as that. I think it works because I never click the shutter unless I am in love with what I see through the lens.
Since I shoot mostly birds and my kids and my home, I guess I really am in love with everything I see through my lens!
No doubt, you are an incredibly gifted photographer.
Kids and home is the most heartfelt photography one could ever endeavor to do. There is no greater satisfaction. Birds? There are days when you feel they are putting on a grand performance just for you. That’s special! I was speaking in more general terms regarding a love of life and all things living. Thank you for your kind complement.
