I asked CT to give me his best James Dean look, and this is what I got. I was impressed. Afterwards he asked, “Who’s James Dean?”

      • Well, the subject is everything, certainly not the ego of the photographer, yet you want the portrait to be your perception. Today’s child portrait requires new concepts. Children are as mischievous as ever, but photographers are no longer stern. We don’t want that. We don’t want to hamper a child’s joy of life for even a moment. We want to bring it out and celebrate it. This requires stillness. I let them go through all their Karate chops and kicks and hideous faces, all the while pretending to click the shutter. When they have had their fill and if you are still smiling, they are ready to let you in.

Mischief? Cooper Tino has a corner on it !
