I don’t know what to say about this image other than it’s a good idea to look up every once in a while! It is a photograph of an art installation which means it is someone else’s art so you must bring something of your own to it. If you don’t, it will become merely a record shot, a recording of what an object looked like at a specific point in time. Hopefully I have made this image my own through composition, lens and aperture choice, time of day, etc.

      This was a dizzying experience to be looking up into infinity…
      or so I perceived it to be ongoing… ever upward… drawing you towards the top…


      • I think your perception is correct. I see this art installation being loosely based on the universe/infinity with the added golden glow of morning light. The sun close to the horizon gives each sphere a nice shadow and highlight emphasizing their roundness and giving them depth. In the art world this is called modeling.
