The Mountains Above Castaic Lake
This is looking down on Castaic Lake from the mountains above. After swimming sans clothing in a beautiful and secluded little pool just above the lake, I hit the trails looking for a good vantage point. I decided this ridge was it. By looking at the flora along the ridge line you can tell exactly which way the prevailing winds blow and how much force they have. This red thistle was the only one around, a survivor, it became my subject.
