I have no recollection of where this was. Whatever cryptic notes taken have failed me, but I never forget a capture. I arrived at this scene before sunset as it was approaching the golden hour. I could already see it in my mind’s eye, the darkening sky, the sun setting over the mountains showering the fields and yellow wildflowers with golden light, and the star burst that would occur. I set up, composed, waited about a half hour, and there it was…my mind’s eye.
