I love chinese and this menu is making me hungry! What an incredible building, you have made it look very tall.
The blueness of the sky brings out the bright colours of the building.
In the upper window is that a tree, a gold coloured tree reflected in the window?

You are right Nature’s Child. That is the reflection of a palm tree turned golden with the early morning sun.
The building is tall, but was made to look even taller by the exaggerated perspective of a wide angle lens.

Nice composition of an otherwise very regular place.

Thanks Shannon. I have always wanted to photograph Hop Louie, but things never lined up. It’s located on a narrow alley, the light never seemed right, and it was always too crowded to use a tripod. This image was taken at 8:30 on a Sunday morning with the sun directly behind the tower.

Well, it’s a great capture. Your timing was right on.
I’m out in just a bit to shoot a panorama of my children’s school for our website. Most times, the lighting’s not right and there are too many cars which obscure the front. Today, it’s crisp and beautiful outside, and I can’t imagine anyone would be there on a Sunday morning! *crossing fingers*

Welcome to the crazy world of being out with your camera very early on a Sunday morning! 😉
Let me know how you made out.
