I can not say if the woman is a real beauty or the photographer has made a miracle…
But there is a conceptual principle, followed here:
“Respect to the rules of composition and at the same time deliverance from them…”

Hi Adrian. Thank you for liking my photograph. There is an interesting, almost imperceptible detail to this woman’s makeup that I think you might be intrigued with. If you click on “view larger” you will be able to see it.
There is a single strand of black hair hanging down on each side of the face (you will be able to see it on camera right). They curl downwards until they touch the cheek where they straighten out and become white, or possible silver. The strands then arch across the cheek as if glued to it, ending under the eyes near the nose. In my minds eye, this is an unfathomably intricate, artistic and beautiful detail.
It was impossible for me to see this at the moment of capture. What attracted me was the instant her eyes went down to hide her feelings of her beauty being captured by my lens. The downward angle exposed her false eyelashes making them look like little Asian hand fans. The single strands of hair were a serendipitous gift to me discovered only during post processing.

I really like the perspective of this photo. It’s complex and intricate but not cluttered.

Thanks Jackie! I only had a second to frame it, but composition becomes an involuntary reaction after awhile so it worked out. When I do have time to make conscious decisions such as in landscapes, I am always thinking about what I can take out of the frame.

Hi, Neat post. There’s an issue along with your site in web explorer, may test this? IE still is the market leader and a large element of other people will omit your magnificent writing due to this problem.
