  1. WOW how do you get such stunning women to pose for you? I love this in b&w it takes nothing away from your subject but adds allure to her. She looks so relaxed yet I am certain she has been posed to look this way.
Every time I see a b&w I get itchy to shoot, yet I am also nervous about how it would turn out. B&w is so revealing. Thanks for this b&w.

    • It’s a curse!!! πŸ˜‰

Seriously though, Shay is one of the best models I have ever worked with. That is why she appears relaxed. It is confidence in her ability. It’s all about communication. The pose was my idea. I wanted her to look directly into my lens with intensity, and what I got was more than I ever bargained for. Beautiful!

The image was originally taken with Kodak color transparency film so it could have multiple uses. My own vision for it was toned, soft pastel looking b&w prints on fine art paper.

Don’t be nervous Marina. Just get out there and do it!

  2. I was just reading our interaction here and I have certainly advanced in my confidence and am now seeing things that need to be photographed by me. Thank You for your encouragement :):
