  1. now, this is pure Paradise!

Is it possible looking at a picture, to have all 5 senses alert?

Because I can see wonderful colours, I can hear the water flowing, I can smell the wild flowers and the bushes, I can touch the rock, I can taste the nature’s fruit…

that’s a piece of art… other comments will spoil the beauty!
    well done

ps was this taken in September?
Where is this “thousand Oaks” in California?

  2. I made the image, “Paradise Falls” on February 22, 2009. It was a Sunday so there were some hikers at the bottom of the falls taking pictures. I decided to climb a steep hillside to find a more unusual vantage point, something which would include the surrounding flora. I am glad that you get the same visceral reaction that I get when looking at this image. That is what it is all about for me!

Thousand Oaks, California is 35 miles North of Downtown Los Angeles.

  3. As I look out my window to my scenic view I am so very tempted to crawl into my computer screen and plant myself within hearing distance of that waterfall, and just rest peacefully surrounded by God’s beauty that you so perfectly captured in an instant but always available whenever it is needed. Today it is needed by me!

There is a huge snowstorm with very high winds and freezing rain beating against my windows, one part of me wants to stay inside beside my TV that has a cracking fireplace on it, great
music playing {The Doors} and look at your vista of beauty {Paradise Falls} for the rest of the day. BUT another part of me want to be outside shooting this snowstorm {this from someone
who dislikes winter very much} alas at some point I do need to go out in this weather and go
to work for the late pm.

Thank You for choosing this day to bring some beauty and tranquility into it.
