  1. i fiori del giardino o dei fiori selvaggi?

they look so delicate and at the same time so sharp!

ART seems fragile, but that’s where its beauty and power emerges from!

    Perfection comes through simplicity…

Idea and implementation of the picture excellent! Looking at it, you travel out of this world…
Yes, it’s worth to be kept busy by art!

    • Non sono selvaggi. Sono i fiori del giardino.

In California, the wild poppies grow low to the ground and have a small yellow/orange flower. See examples of the California poppy here: “Yellow Hillside – Death Valley” and “Death Valley Adobe Ruin”. The poppies pictured in “i Fiori del Giardino” are a garden variety poppy similar to the poppies of the Orient in size and flower color. They even have the same milky sap in the pods only without the alkaloids used in the making of heroin.

Yes! I used a large aperture setting (probably f/2.8-f/4) to create a shallow depth of field. This made some flowers sharp and others have a soft focus making them appear delicate.

It is a simple image and therein lies its strength.

To me it is worth it to constantly create art, but that has a caveat. See what Tina Moditti has to say about that here: Famous Photographer quote #3
